Curtain Wall Accessories
Spider fittings, hangers, brackets, embedded plates, chemical anchors and stainless fixings used to attach facade panels to the building structure.
- Scope
- Hangers, brackets, embeds, anchors, screws
- Typical finishes
- Hot-dip galvanized, zinc plated, stainless
- Order basis
- Drawing or facade system schedule

A curtain wall is carried by a chain of small components: the embed cast into the slab, the bracket that takes up construction tolerance, the hanger that receives the panel, and the fastener that ties the assembly together. Each joint in that chain sets the position of everything after it, so these parts are supplied as a matched set rather than to a nominal size alone. Point-fixed glass uses a spider fitting to pick up four panels at one node — the shortest tolerance chain in the system, where the part has to be made to the system rather than to a catalogue number.
Components are produced to drawing — plate thickness, slot length, hole pitch, weld position and finish are confirmed before production starts. Tell us the facade system, the panel weight and the substrate, and the bracket, embed and anchor can be quoted as one assembly instead of separate items.
What helps us quote accurately
- Product drawing, or a dimensioned sketch / sample
- Material grade and surface finish requirement
- Quantity per size, and whether sizes are mixed in one order
- Destination port and any documentation required
