Product information
Bent bolts are formed by wrapping a straight threaded bar around a former, so bend radius, leg centres and thread run-out are the three dimensions that decide whether the part actually fits. They are ordered against the pipe or section being clamped, not against a nominal size.
Forms supplied include U-bolts with two legs, square bends for rectangular hollow sections, J-bolts, and single-end bent bolts with a welded plate. Galvanizing is done after bending so the outside of the bend — where the coating is thinnest on a pre-coated bar — is fully covered.

How is the inside width specified?
Measure the outside diameter of the pipe or section, add the wall or coating thickness, and the leg centres follow from that. Send the pipe size and the drawing can be checked against it.
Are nuts supplied?
Yes, two nuts per U-bolt as standard. The quantity is confirmed on the order rather than assumed.
